Mobilisierungsfleyer für BewohnerInnen des Abschiebelagers Bramsche - englisch

On saturday, 24th of september there will be a demonstration in Bramsche- Hesepe which proclaims the closure of the Lager and the human accomodation and treatment of refugees.
The demonstration starts at 12 p.m. at Hesepe trainstation and ends at the parking-lot in front of the Lager.
The protest will be organized by various human rights organizations, which proclaim their solidarity with the refugees demand the closure of the Lager.
These groups are: the „committee for basic rights and democracy“ and regional and overregional antiracist groups, that joined an „anti- lager- network“.
Part of this network are, besides people with german passports, also many refugees.
During the last years, the „anti- Lager- network“ organized numerous similar activities at different locations in order to focus public attention on the situation of refugees, that are often accomodated under unhuman conditions in Lagers.
Last year there was an anti- racist- camp right next to the Lager in Hesepe, which was part of the „anti- Lager- acion- tour“ through northern germany.
The „committee for basic rights and democracy“ requires for the 24th of september a „public inspection“ of the Lager, so that everybody can inform themselves about the situation of the refugees there. The directing management of the Lager has announced though, that they will not accept such an inspection by all the participants of the demonstration. They will only agree upon the visit of a delegation.
This delegation will get into contact with inhabitants of the Lager and talk about their situation and the conditions that they are facing. The delegation will also invite refugees, to join the activists outside the Lager and use the opportunity to talk together and to express the demand for closure of this and all the other existing Lagers very clearly.
Of course all refugees are also invited to participate at the demonstration towards the Lager. Before the start of the demonstration a delegation will come to the Lager, in order to accompany the refugees and to make sure, that nobody will suffer from any trouble because of their participation.
When the activities are over, a bus will travel to Mecklenburg- Vorpommern. On sunday, 25th of september, we will visit some more common accomdation places for refugees there. At these places we will also demonstrate for the rights of refugees.
